The brother turns older

        You know when you're a guest at someone's birthday dinner and you end up dressing up more than the celebrant? Well that was the case with me last weekend! My brother had messaged me to warn me that I would most likely be the "most dressed" for his birthday dinner and my response, "Do I look like I was born to blend in?" Haha. I prefer to be over-dressed than under-dressed. Always. 

Hokie pokie Spring

The weather is teasing me and I'm not finding it funny. It's like we're playing the hokey pokey. One day it's a beautiful 20 degrees Celsius and then next day we are getting a chance of snow and lots of wind? Only in Canada!
One of the easiest ways to dress for such unpredictable weather is with maxi skirts! They look appropriate in just about any weather. 

Lacey whites and wide leg pants

I only wear all white if I know there will be no sweating nor dancing involved and I am going straight from a car to a particular location and back to the car. Otherwise, I choose either a white top or white pants. It's not even that I'm clumsy, it's just white clothes always find a way of dirtying themselves! Be it dust or someone's dirty hands, a sidewalk, bike, etc etc. You could just be sitting for 2 hours and when you stood up, there would be something that messed up your all white outfit.

Sunflower power!

Ayeeeee! How is everyone doing?! 
My oh my I have been all around North America WORKING like the rent was due last weekend!
I was travelling and moving into a new place at the same time and it was all very crazy but God saw me through.
 I was travelling for both my jobs- my day job and Zuvaa. Let's talk about my Zuvaa assignment because it's more exciting!

The brightened up office look

 When people hear "corporate" they, for some reason, think and gravitate towards sober colors such as black, grey and white. These are all classic combos and great for the more conservative work place BUT it never hurts to toss in some color here and there, especially with temperatures rising.

Broken glass

 When my I laid my eyes on this H&M midi dress, the first thing that came to mind was broken glass. I fell in love with the print and color and made the final decision to purchase it when I saw how flattering it was on my figure!
Mind you, as mentioned in previous posts, I have noticed less elasticity in my mid section and have resulted to sometimes wearing spanx but all in all, this dress was a great fit!

When temperatures are above 0...

Isn't it funny how during the winter, if we experience 0 degrees we whip out the skirts and minimize the clothing but during the Fall, if temperatures drop below 10 it's like the Ice Age just begun and folks step out in layers, ready for battle?
 Well that was the case with this outfit!

   I don't know about you but I've been so motivated to get my life in check and on point!
It may be partially thanks to the fact that I cleared off a huge chunk of my debt towards the end of last year and have been given a clearer vision of what God wants me to do.
