Hello beautiful people of the world!
I certainly hope you enjoyed your Valentine's day, recalling that you don't need a man (or woman) to appreciate the celebration of love as the greatest love of all is loving yourself and your neighbor-whoever that may be!
 I enjoyed the day at the Canadian Agriculture and food museum with my nephew and brother. We saw tons of animals, rode in an ancient tractor and baked a cake from beets and carrots-delicious!

Happy weekend all!

 My weekend is proving to be quite eventful already as it kick-started with a Black History month show put on by the students at the University of Ottawa. There were musical performances, dancing, poetry, spoken word and even some acting.

Just when I give up on Forever 21...

It's like every time I try to leave, something keeps pulling me back! Haha
I have this love-hate relationship with Forever 21 whereby I stayed subscribed to their promotional e-mails but tend to stay away from them due to poor quality and fit (in my opinion).

Health and Fitness Update, how I stay in good shape + January's successful challenge

Hellooo dear readers and welcome to a new month!
 I had mentioned early in January that I was doing a fitness challenge and fasting. Well I was doing the Daniel Fast actually, which is a fast for both the body and soul. It was a great way to cleanse myself from the Holiday season over-eating I did as well as put me back on my spiritual track.
