Winter grays
Does anyone else get really moody during the Winter? With sunset occurring at 4pm, frozen sidewalks and slippery roads, muddy-slushy snow piled up on driveways and of course, the bitter cold just biting at your nose and ears, it's no wonder I get all cooped up in my room during the winter. Everything seems so depressing and it's harder to see the beauty in nature when, well... it's hard to see.

Lacking inspiration...
Bonjour, bon apres-midi and Hello dear readers!
Do you ever just simply lack creativity and have no will power? Well I''m going through that phase with the blog. I feel like it's becoming a constant (outfit diary) and I can't think of ways to switch things up and stand out. I mean there are thousands and thousands of style/fashion bloggers out there and if you weren't doing this 6 years ago, it's hard to get that recognition and stand out. I don't know if I should go away for a while and re-group and think about the direction in which I want the blog to go. I only want to provide the best for you so perhaps I need to think deep.

Belted Scarf

Hope you're all having a great week so far-and I bet you're ready for the weekend!
I've been really busy getting stuff done for mega online marketplace, Zuvaa.com. We have lots of cool projects in store for the year and one of them was the launch of our stylists program with some faces that may be familiar to you.
If you follow trends (which I don't usually do to be honest), then you may have noticed this "belted scarf" trend that is picking up. I realized I had similar pieces as Soraya of Styleismything and styled my belted scarf in a similar way.

Stripes and Red accents
I know this look is slightly reminiscent of the Christmas and holiday period which just passed but hey, what can I say, I'm a Christmas baby and it's still Capricorn season :)

Boy oh boy am I having way too much fun thrifting items versus paying full retail prices!
I find that thrift store provide uniqueness as well as affordability and most pieces are of really good quality. I've become so inspired that I just opened my very own Etsy store where I will be selling some of these unique pieces! You can check the store out HERE!!

The thrifter series part 2
Hellooo everybody and welcome to the 2nd outfit in the thrifter series.
This time, I was able to try a popular trend thanks to a $6 plaid skirt I found during my Value Village expedition.
Plaid is currently quite the trend right now and I decided to personalize mine a little by mixing 2 different shades of plaid-red and bluish-green!

The thrifter series
Hellooo beautiful people of 2015!
So here's an idea I came up with since I recently have been very much into thrifting and finding unique pieces. I decided that I would do an entire segment on the blog dedicated to thrifted items.
I have been fortunate enough to score amazing trendy pieces at local thrift stores here and this has permitted to try certain trends while maintaining a tight budget!
