the opportunity presented itself for me to have a mini-local getaway and I couldn't say no! With everything going on in my life right now, it was much needed.
I don't know about you but I just love staying at hotels. I feel different, I sleep amazingly well, I order room service, watch tons of TV and use 3 towels/day! Haha

I'm quite pleased with the way my photography skills are developing. I have had more time on my hands to play around with lighting, different environments and angles and am able to capture better shots in a shorter period of time! I also have more time to explore Toronto and these pictures were taken during one of my outings.

Funny enough, when I was putting it together, I didn't even have that in mind! I just felt like protecting myself from the sun with a hat while wearing a crop top and midi skirt!
Well, well, well. Since I like to try and keep things honest here, I have a confession. I had taken photos in these 2 outfits but well, I didn't like the way they turned out! At the time, they seemed fine but then when I uploaded them to my computer, the shoes seemed wrong in one and I didn't like the way my hair turned out in another set, haha! The struggles of blogging right?
I mean sure it still feels like 30 degrees over here (and I am NOT complaining) but I couldn't resist stepping out with Last year's H&M trench coat!
The long weekend is over and it's such a shame! I spent the weekend with my parents and took my mom to the Canadian National Exhibition (known as The Ex)which is a mix of a theme park, casino, outdoor shows and international vendors. We had such a chill time and enjoyed lots of ice cream-YUM!
